Chelsie Young Crushes It!

SB (StarBeat): Chelsie, congratulations on being one of the top StarBeat contenders in Canada, all the way through! Tell us a bit about that night when you and the crew did your magic. We’d love to know the outtake stuff, looked like a blast to be there!

 

SB: Cool! Do you guys play live? When, where, bits please…

 

CY: That was the first time I played music with those guys. They have their own band. I was so lucky to have been able to sing with them.

 

SB: Can you whisper me your secret girl crush? No worries, no one will know. Internet’s huge, right.

 

 

CY: I do not have a girl crush of any sort lol – and im not into Internet stuff much. I can barely keep up with my facebook. It would be hard to keep up with twitter, snapchat, instagram, etc… I’m fine with one means of communication.

 

 

 

SB: We really enjoyed the artist studio reproduction of text message alerts in the middle of your tune. It made us touch ourselves (pockets of course) and stop singing along – at least a dozen times before we caught on!

 

 

CY: The ringing on the phone was my phone dying and messages coming in from thousands of fans. That was the first time I played music with those guys. They have their own band. I was so lucky to have been able to sing with them.

 

 

 

 

SB: The motto that you live your life by?

 

CY: I live by “never live life in regret”.

 

 

SB: What’s the last artist or band that you saw perform live? When and where?

 

CY: Garth Brooks in Edmonton – just a few weeks ago.
